Telangana DGP CV Anand Lauds Dr. Rajeshwari Sainath's Contribution to Bharatanatyam
Born and based in Hyderabad, 65-year-old Dr Rajeswari is a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer and teacher.

Hyderabad: Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) C V Anand congratulated Bharatanatyam artiste Dr. Rajeshwari Sainath on receiving the prestigious Central Sangeet Natak Akademi Award.
CV Anand lauded her 55 years of contribution to the art, international and national performances, and her role in training thousands of students through her academy. He also praised her efforts to spread awareness on social issues through Bharatanatyam.
Born and based in Hyderabad, 65-year-old Dr Rajeswari is a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer and teacher. “I began dancing from a very young age, since I was nine years old, and I have been in the industry for more than 55 years now”, she said.
Dr Rajeswari went on to establish herself as one of the leading Bharatanatyam performers in the country. Over the years, she has presented numerous solo performances and dance productions in India and abroad.
