Jitender urges community engagement and safety measures during law and order assessment

Hyderabad: Director General of Police (DGP) Jitender, during the law and order review meeting in Kamareddy district on Thursday, emphasised that citizens always desire to live in a peaceful and secure environment.
Jitender held one-on-one interactions with circle inspectors and sub-divisional officers to assess the ground situation. He was briefed on ongoing major cases, preventive measures being implemented and steps taken to curb crimes.
The DGP underlined the importance of proactive policing and community engagement. The core objective of policing is to instill a sense of safety and security among the public, he said.
