Telangana: Developers Violate RERA Rules on Promotions
Builders like Trendset Jayabheri, Cloudwood Constructions and Raaga Radhey Groups are among those whose projects are registered with RERA but yet their advertisements do not carry the RERA registration number.

Hyderabad: Several real estate developers are promoting their upcoming projects without following basic rules set under the RERA Act. These projects, including those not registered with RERA, are being advertised on social media platforms without mentioning the RERA registration number.
“This is a clear violation of Section 3 of the RERA Act. A builder cannot advertise or sell a project without registering it and once registered, the RERA number must be shown in all advertisements whether online or offline,” said Srinivas Rao, a member of the Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
Builders like Trendset Jayabheri, Cloudwood Constructions and Raaga Radhey Groups are among those whose projects are registered with RERA but yet their advertisements do not carry the RERA registration number.
Some builders are using the RERA number of one registered project to promote unrelated or unregistered projects — a practice which is common among smaller developers.
“Every project must have its own registration number, sharing one number across multiple projects misleads buyers and goes against the transparency that RERA aims to uphold,” Srinivas Rao added.
As per RERA guidelines, any advertisement for a real estate project must carry the RERA registration number. Buyers are advised to check the TGRERA website, where all approved projects are listed.
