Telangana DCA Seizes Illegal Drug Stocks in Chandrayangutta, 1 Booked
A total of 11 varieties of medicines, including antibiotics and other drugs, were found stocked for sale at the premises
Hyderabad: Telangana Drugs Control Administration (DCA) officials raided a premise at Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad, where medicines were being illegally stocked and sold without a valid drug licence, and seized the drug stocks.
The DCA officials, acting on credible information regarding the illegal sale of medicines, raided the premises and found that Aslam Bin Salam Bajaber was illegally stocking and selling medicines without a valid drug licence.
A total of 11 varieties of medicines, including antibiotics and other drugs, were found stocked for sale at the premises. The stock, worth Rs. 18,000 was seized by the officers during the raid.
The DCA officials lifted the samples for analysis. Further investigation shall be carried out and action shall be taken as per the law against all the offenders, they added.
