Telangana: CYIENT Founder Shares Success Mantras at SR University Convocation
Warangal: Delivering his speech at the second convocation ceremony of Sumati Reddy (SR) University at Anantasagar in Hanamkonda district on Saturday, founder chairman of CYIENT Dr B.V.R. Mohan Reddy shared three scuccess mantras with the graduates -- embracing innovation, harnessing technology and cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, and emphasised the importance of showing gratitude towards the people who had contributed to their successs.
Mohan Reddy, the chief guest of the ceremony, advised the young engineering graduates to derive inspiration from Thomas Alva Edison and Dr A.P.J. Adbul Kalam for perseverance and consistency to achieve higher goals in life.
As our Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi said the future of the young generation is dependent on what they do today, the newly graduated students must work hard by making wise decisions and fulfill the dreams of their parents, he said.
Vice-chancellor Prof. Deepak Garg said that the university was offering 17 Bachelor’s programmes, 16 Master’s programs and 18 Doctoral programs and had collaborations with Microsoft and top 500 global universities. Additionally, the university houses 10 research centres dedicated to futuristic domains. The students who pursued their education in the university got great placements with the highest package of `62 lakh per annum in 2024-25, he noted.
Later, varsity chairman A. Varada Reddy handed over the Doctorate to actor, writer, poet and director Tanikella Bharani for his contributions to the Telugu film industry.
Pro-chancellor Madhukar Reddy, Dr V. Mahesh, Dr Archana Reddy, Dr Suman, Dr Ramdeshmukh were present.
