Telangana Congress Leaders To Join INDIA Bloc Protest In Delhi
Over 60 Telangana Congress leaders, including Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, will join the INDIA bloc protest in Delhi over alleged electoral roll irregularities and voter deletions.
Over 60 Congress leaders from Telangana, including Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramaraka and several ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior leaders will participate in the protest being organised by the I.N.D.I.A. bloc in New Delhi on Monday. The protest focuses on alleged irregularities and discrepancies surrounding the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with Opposition leaders raising serious concerns over voter deletions and the protection of voting rights.
While Bhatti, PCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud along with the team left on a special flight on Sunday, the Chief Minister, who was in Goa, will join them in Delhi.
As part of mobilising the partymen, Revanth Reddy postponed the state Cabinet meeting, scheduled for October 12 to discuss the El Nino crisis and its impact on Telangana.
