Telangana: Cong. Leaders In Hanamkonda Pays Tribute To PV On 105th Birth Anniversary

HANAMKONDA: The 105th birth anniversary of former prime minister P.V. Narasimha Rao was observed across Hanamkonda district on Sunday, with Congress leaders organising commemorative events. The programme was led by Hanamkonda District Congress Committee (DCC) president Inagala Venkat Ram Reddy.
At the DCC office in Hanamkonda, Venkat Ram Reddy, along with Hanamkonda West MLA Nayini Rajender Reddy and other leaders, hoisted the National Flag and paid floral tributes to Rao’s portrait. The leaders later visited his statue at the JNS Stadium junction and offered tributes.
Speaking on the occasion, Congress leaders described P.V. Narasimha Rao as a visionary who guided the country through a difficult economic phase and initiated reforms that reshaped the economy.
They said Rao, a native of Telangana and a scholar proficient in several languages, made significant contributions to the nation’s political and economic landscape.
The leaders also welcomed the conferment of the Bharat Ratna on Rao by the Central government, calling it a recognition of his contribution and a matter of pride for Telangana.
District collector Chahat Bajpai, Vodithela Satish Kumar, Pingili Venkat Ram Narasimha Reddy, Aziz Khan, E.V. Srinivas Rao, and other Congress functionaries attended the programme.
