Telangana CM Revanth Leads Rally in Support of Indian Army
Revanth Reddy said that the nation stood united in the fight against terrorism

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday issued a stern warning to Pakistan against provocation, stating that India possessed the capability to erase the country from the map. “If India truly desires, Pakistanis wouldn’t even be able to see the Sun rise tomorrow,” Revanth Reddy said, addressing a solidarity rally organised from Secretariat to Indira Gandhi statue at Necklace Road to support the armed forces following Operation Sindoor,
Highlighting India’s historical commitment to peace, Revanth Reddy reminded the gathering that both India and Pakistan achieved independence through Mahatma Gandhi’s non-violent struggle. “India is a peace-loving country. We secured freedom from the British through non-violence. But some terrorists and their sponsors misinterpret our commitment to peace as weakness. They should not make that mistake,” he warned.
Citing the success of Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack, Revanth Reddy underlined the strength and preparedness of India’s armed forces. “If India commands, there will be no Pakistan on the world map by tomorrow morning. Our brave armed forces can wipe you out of existence before sunrise,” he warned.
Revanth Reddy said that the nation stood united in the fight against terrorism. “All 140 crore Indians are one in backing our armed forces. Politics and parties may differ, but when it comes to protecting our nation, we are all together,” he said, lauding Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi for extending full support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the fight against Pakistan-sponsored terror.
Leading the solidarity rally, holding a National Flag, Revanth Reddy marched along with thousands of citizens holding the Tricolour, from the Telangana Secretariat to Indira Gandhi statue at Necklace Road. The rally echoed with slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai,” “Jai Jawan,” and “Vande Mataram.” “All four crore people of Telangana stand with our jawans in this operation,” Revanth said.
The rally witnessed participation from ex-servicemen and members of the Sainik Board. M. Sudhakar, representing the armed forces, told Deccan Chronicle, “This display of unity by citizens is crucial for those fighting on the front lines.”
Capt. Sangameshwar (retd) of the Madras Regiment, a decorated veteran with service in Kargil and Operation Parakram, said, “I served for 32 years, joining at 19. Those were difficult times, but moments of immense pride. Whether living or dead, it is for the country.”
