Telangana: CM Revanth Gives Financial Aid to Cancer Patients
On Wednesday evening, Sai Charan, along with his family members, met Revanth Reddy at Secretariat to express their gratitude

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy provided financial support to a cancer-affected family for medical treatment. Sirisilla Sai Charan, 35, from Siddipet was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a type of blood cancer. He is the sole bread-winner for his family comprising his wife, two minor daughters and his parents.
The family was forced to sell their house in Ensanpalli of Siddipet mandal for Sai Charan’s treatment. Even so, the funds were insufficient to cover the full cost of treatment. The family then approached Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and explained their dire situation.
Revanth Reddy initially sanctioned ₹5 lakh for Sai Charan's treatment. With this support, a stem cell transplantation was successfully carried out at Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad. As the treatment required an additional ₹7 lakh, the Chief Minister instructed that the amount be released through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF), which was subsequently provided by the officials.
On Wednesday evening, Sai Charan, along with his family members, met Revanth Reddy at Secretariat to express their gratitude. The Chief Minister advised Sai Charan to stay strong and courageous in his recovery journey.
