Kumari Ananthan rendered commendable services as an MLA four times and once as MP
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday expressed shock over the demise of Tamil Nadu Congress senior leader and prominent writer Kumari Ananthan (Harikrishnan Nadar Ananthan). Ananthan is the father of former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.
The Chief Minister said the demise of a patriot Ananthan, who revived the principles of Mahatma Gandhi and a follower of Tamil language, was mournful.
He recalled that Kumari Ananthan rendered commendable services as a member of legislative Assembly four times and once as a Member of Parliament. Revanth Reddy expressed deepest sympathies and condolences to Tamilisai and the grieving family members.
The Chief Minister prayed to God for the departed soul to rest in peace.
