Telangana CEO Orders Action over Assault on BLOs

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C Sudershan Reddy asked the police department to take necessary action in connection with a case related to assault on BLOs a few days ago and submit a compliance report.
He urged the Director-General of Police and GHMC Commissioner to enquire into the matter and take necessary action immediately and furnish the compliance report to the Telangana State Commission for Women and also to the CEO office immediately.
The issue is related to the assault of women BLOs and obstructing them while discharging official election duties (SIR). Reddy asked to treat the issue as most urgent and act accordingly.
