Telangana Braces for More Rain
In Hyderabad, non-stop moderate to heavy showers are expected in northern parts

Hyderabad: Rainfall intensity eased in Hyderabad on Thursday with only drizzles and light showers reported, while no significant spells are expected for the next six hours, according to weather watchers.
However, a severe rain warning has been issued for several Telangana districts. Heavy downpours are set to continue in Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Jagitial, Khammam, Mahabubabad and Bhadradri, and are likely to extend to Nirmal, Sircilla, Karimnagar and Peddapalli.
According to Telangana Weatherman, the situation in Kamareddy, Nizamabad and Nirmal remains critical, with core low-pressure area rains expected to trigger another spell. Kamareddy has already recorded an unprecedented 500–600 mm rainfall in the past 36 hours.
Jagitial, Sircilla, Karimnagar, Khammam and Mahabubabad are also forecast to receive heavy rains in the next few hours.
In Hyderabad, non-stop moderate to heavy showers are expected in northern parts including Qutbullapur, Gajularamaram, Serilingampally, Madhapur, Balanagar, Miyapur, RC Puram, Alwal, Ameerpet, Secunderabad, Khairtabad, Himayatnagar and Malkajgiri for the next two hours. Other areas are likely to see light to moderate rain.
