Telangana Board to Set Up Exam Command Control Centre

Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education plans to establish a command control centre at its office to ensure transparent holding of public exams, especially the practicals, later this year. Over 9.5 lakh students from 2,500 junior colleges are set to take the examinations.
The board has faced criticism in recent years with regard to malpractice during practical exams, particularly in private and corporate colleges. To address this, TGBIE has instructed private and corporate colleges which will hold practical exams to install CCTV cameras.
The initiative will be implemented from the practical exams starting February 3 and the theory exams starting on March 5.
To ensure seamless connectivity with all colleges and surveillance, the Intermediate Board has invited tenders for system integrators to manage the project. This new measure aims to tackle malpractices and ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
