Telangana BJP to Launch 'Maha Sampark Abhiyan' Ahead of Local Body Polls
Under the programme titled ‘BJP – polling booth president to every household,’ party workers will visit homes across Telangana to highlight the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and its welfare schemes

Hyderabad:The BJP Telangana unit said it would hold an outreach campaign, Maha Sampark Abhiyan, on Sunday and Monday, to connect with every household ahead of the local body elections. Under the programme titled ‘BJP – polling booth president to every household,’ party workers will visit homes across Telangana to highlight the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and its welfare schemes.
BJP state general secretary Dr Kasam Venkateshwarlu said the campaign wais a strategic effort to strengthen the party's grassroots presence from booth to district level and to expose the failures of the ruling Congress government and the previous BRS administration, particularly concerning governance and corruption issues.
The campaign builds on earlier efforts covering 31 districts and 566 mandals. Each booth president is tasked with visiting at least 100 households.
Dr Venkateshwarlu criticised the Congress government for failing tenant farmers, scheme implementation, rising corruption, neglect of rural infrastructure, and attacks on temples, calling the regime anti-Hindu.
State BJP leaders, including Ramchander Rao, Union minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar, and MPs D.K. Aruna and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, will monitor the outreach efforts across districts. The party urged Telangana’s people to support BJP in the upcoming local body polls and work collectively to bring much-needed political change.
