Telangana BJP to Hold Tiranga Events

BJP to promote the importance of nationalism and patriotism in the wake of the Phalagam terror attack

Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP is all set to organise a Tiranga programme in the city and in all district headquarters to promote nationalism and patriotism among the people following the terrorist activities at Pahalgam that led to war between India and Pakistan. This is part of a nationwide programme that the party leadership announced in Delhi on Saturday.

The BJP leaders are likely to finalise the programme schedule of Tiranga in Telangana by Tuesday and issue a circular to all BJP leaders from Village level to state level to participate in the programme.

Rajya Sabha MP K. Laxman said that Operation Sindoor was successful in neutralising terror camps located at Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). The BJP-led NDA government at the Centre had acted in a timely manner by conducting Operation Sindoor following the Pahalgam terror incident.

During the Tiranga programme, the BJP would create awareness among the people by explaining the importance of nationalism and patriotism. “Operation Sindoor is not related to war against any religion and place. It is only a war against terrorism which poses a major challenge not only to India and also to the world,” party leaders, holding National Flags, will tell the people.

"The world is shocked by India's strength and stability in coping with terrorist activities. During the operation, the Indian Army destroyed hundreds of drones which were used by Pakistan. This is the time to explain everything to people by organising the Tiranga programme," Laxman said.

Telangana BJP vice-president N.V.S.S. Prabhakar said that the BJP would explain the reasons that led to a war-like situation between India and Pakistan. The BJP's aim was to curb the terrorists and terror activities across the nation by protecting India from terrorists.
