Telangana: BJP, Students Protest Fee Reimbursement Delay In Nizamabad

NIZAMABAD: BJP leaders and students staged a protest in Nizamabad on Friday demanding immediate release of pending fee reimbursement dues. Under the Indur Ranabheri programme, they gathered at Dharna Chowk and raised slogans against the state government. Students from various educational institutions participated.
Speaking at the protest, MP Dharmapuri Arvind said the movement against the Congress government had begun from Nizamabad and alleged that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had failed to meet student expectations. He also referred to the Congress manifesto promise under the “Yuva Vikasam” initiative to clear dues amounting to ₹12,000 crore and claimed that only ₹200 crore had been released so far.
MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta demanded immediate clearance of fee reimbursement dues and alleged that the government was prioritising other projects over student welfare. He said the BJP would support further protests by students.
