CPI Legislator Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao appealed to the State government to constitute an SIT to probe into the murder of CPM leader Samineni Rama Rao
CPI Legislator Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao appealed to the State government to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe into the murder of CPM leader Samineni Rama Rao. Rama Rao was brutally murdered in his native Patharlapadu village in Madhira constituency of the Khammam district in October 2025. The SIT will help in knowing the cause of the murder and the persons behind it, he said. The MLA made this appeal during zero hour in the house.
Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar has adjourned the House for Tuesday.
