Telangana ACB Nabs 3 Persons in Separate Bribe Cases
The bribe was demanded for allotting custom milled paddy to the complainant's new raw rice mill at Miraspally village in Wanaparthy

Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday arrested Kumba Jagan Mohan, an Assistant Manager (Accounts) at Telangana State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited in Wanaparthy in a bribe case.
Mohan allegedly accepted a bribe of Rs.50,000 through his driver Lavudya Laxman Naik from the complainant for doing an official favour. The bribe was demanded for allotting custom milled paddy to the complainant's new raw rice mill at Miraspally village in Wanaparthy.
The bribe amount was recovered from the right-side front car door bottle holder of the car hired by Mohan. In a separate case, Barpati Krishna, a Panchayat Secretary of Ganugabanda village of Thungathurthy mandal in Suryapet district, was caught red handed by the ACB when he demanded and accepted a bribe amount of Rs.6,000 from the complainant.
The bribe was demanded to allot a house number to the complainant's newly constructed house. The bribe amount was recovered from the possession of the arrested officer. The ACB officials produced the three arrested persons before the special court for ACB cases after which the court remanded them to judicial custody.
