Telangana ACB Nabs 2 Revenue Inspectors In Bribe Cases
The ACB officials produced the two Revenue Inspectors before the special court for ACB cases in Nampally

Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday arrested two Revenue Inspectors in connection with separate bribe cases.
In the first case, the ACB nabbed G. Krishna, a Revenue Inspector at the office of Tahsildar at Ibrahimpatnam mandal in Ranga Reddy district for allegedly demanding Rs.12 lakh as bribe from the complainant.
The bribe was allegedly demanded for processing the work of adding seven guntas of land in complainant's father's pattadar pass book in survey number 355 at Adibatla village in Ibrahimpatnam and to not only see that the file is processed at RDO office but also influence higher officials at MRO and RDO offices, according to ACB press release.
In the second case, Bhoopala Mahesh, a Revenue Inspector working at the office of Tahsildar in Musheerabad, was caught by the ACB when he reportedly demanded Rs.1 lakh as bribe and accepted Rs.25,000 as part payment from the complainant for showing official favour.
Mahesh demanded the bribe for issuing family members' certificates to the complainant. The ACB officials produced the two Revenue Inspectors before the special court for ACB cases in Nampally after which the court remanded them to judicial custody.
