Telangana: 23-Year-Old Software Engineer Dies by Suicide in Madhapur

HYDERABAD: A 23-year-old software engineer died by suicide after jumping from a co-living hostel building in Madhapur.
The deceased has been identified as Yashwanth, a native of Pathapatnam in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district. He was employed at a prominent IT firm in Gachibowli and had moved into room number 206 of Avasa Co-Living Hostel in Madhapur just 10 days ago.
According to the Madhapur police, Yashwanth had informed hostel staff earlier that he was unwell. A short while later, he went up to the terrace and jumped off the building. He sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.
Upon receiving the alert, the police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to establish the exact reason behind the extreme step.
