TD Leaders Seek Removal of Private Assets Tagged Under Section 22A

Telugu Desam (TD) leaders on Wednesday submitted memorandums to district officials in Nirmal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad and Adilabad districts over private properties being tagged under Section 22A of the Registration Act, 1908.

A team of TD leaders led by TD Adilabad Parliamentary president Gullapally Anand submitted a memorandum to officials in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district, seeking removal of private properties from the Section 22A list.

Anand said the move would benefit poor and middle-class families who were unable to sell their properties during emergencies because of the restrictions. He said people were facing hardships due to their properties being tagged under Section 22A.
