TCA Files Complaint Against HCA Alleging Rs 600 Crore Scam Over Two Decades

Reddy claims that funds exceeding Rs 600 crore have been misappropriated over the past 20 years

Hyderabad: Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) Secretary Guruva Reddy has leveled serious allegations of rampant corruption and financial irregularities against the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). Reddy claims that funds exceeding Rs 600 crore have been misappropriated over the past 20 years.

Seeking immediate intervention, Reddy has formally lodged a complaint with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the Chief Secretary, the Director General of Police (DGP), and the Chief of the CID, demanding swift action against the alleged wrongdoers.

Key Allegations Outlined in the Complaint:

Massive Fund Misappropriation: Financial irregularities totaling over Rs 600 crore spanning two decades, which allegedly includes a highly questionable transfer of Rs 69 crore to Visaka Industries.

Voter List Manipulation: The deliberate removal of genuine, authorized cricket clubs from the HCA roster and their replacement with "fake" clubs to rig voter lists.

Illegal Property Transfers: The unauthorized handover of cricket clubs—originally classified as municipal properties—to private individuals.

IPL Ticket Black Marketeering: A demand to immediately halt the systemic black-market operations surrounding the sale of IPL match tickets.

The TCA has urged state authorities and law enforcement agencies to launch a comprehensive investigation into these systemic failures and hold the responsible individuals accountable.
