Tandur Municipality Senior Assistant Held in Bribe Case

The bribe was demanded to allot house number to the shed constructed by the complainant in Tandur: ACB

Hyderabad: B. Ramesh, a Senior Assistant at the office of Tandur Muncipality, was caught by Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) when he demanded and accepted a bribe Rs.15,000 from the complainant for showing official favour.

The ACB officials said the bribe was demanded to allot house number to the shed constructed by the complainant at survey number 26 in Tandur and added that Ramesh performed his public duty improperly and dishonestly. The ACB officials recovered the bribe amount from the possession of Ramesh.
