Plans to Hire 1,000 staff by 2027

Hyderabad: TMUS Global Solutions, the global arm of T-Mobile, one of the leading telecommunication companies in the US, has inaugurated a 2.5‑lakh square feet global technology centre in Hyderabad, marking a major expansion of the US technology giant outside its home country.
The facility, opened in the presence of IT and industries minister D Sridhar Babu and IT advisor Sai Krishna, will serve as a strategic innovation hub within T‑Mobile’s global network, building advanced capabilities across software engineering, DevOps, product development, data analytics, cyber-security and next‑generation digital solutions.
Officials from TMUS Global Solutions India, including Chandra Gupta, vice‑president IT operations, joined the state delegation to discuss long‑term growth plans. The company intends to scale the Hyderabad centre to nearly 1,000 employees by 2027.
Designed as a globally integrated technology and innovation centre, the office will focus on cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, automation and enterprise digital transformation to develop scalable solutions that support the company’s technology operations and customer experience goals.
Speaking at the launch, Sridhar Babu thanked T‑Mobile’s leadership for choosing Telangana, saying the state’s diverse talent pool and rapidly built GCC ecosystem enable global firms to scale quickly across sectors such as telecom, AI, semiconductors, life sciences and BFSI.
Chandra Gupta said Hyderabad’s talent and established innovation ecosystem align with T‑Mobile’s long‑term objectives and will help strengthen the company’s engineering and digital capabilities. Hyderabad, which now hosts over 450 GCCs and more than 3 lakh professionals, has in recent years emerged as one of the fastest‑growing hubs for high‑value technology centres.
