Suryapet Road Accident: CM Revanth Reddy Directs Best Medical Care for Injured

The impact was so severe that the front portion of the bus was completely mangled, leaving several passengers trapped inside.

Suryapet: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed deep condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the Suryapet road accident.

He directed the Chief Secretary to ensure that the injured receive the best possible medical treatment. He also instructed the authorities to closely monitor the condition of the injured.

Six people were killed and 11 others were severely injured after a private travel bus collided with a stationary container DCM in the early hours of Wednesday. The condition of four others is reportedly critical. A total of 42 passengers were on board at the time of the incident.

The accident occurred on the outskirts of Dorakunta in Kodad mandal. The deceased include five women and one man.

According to preliminary information, the private bus was travelling from Hyderabad to Eluru in Andhra Pradesh when it rammed into the stationary container DCM. The impact was so severe that the front portion of the bus was completely mangled, leaving several passengers trapped inside.

On receiving information about the accident, police immediately reached the spot and launched rescue operations. The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.

A case has been registered, and police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Further details are awaited.
