Hyderabad: South Central Railway officials, led by general manager Arun Kumar Jain, conducted a surprise inspection at Secunderabad Railway Station on Monday. The officials checked on the provision of passenger amenities.
The inspection was part of the re-development works at Secunderabad Railway Station. Jain told officials that re-development works would go on alongside train services and that means effective crowd management would be a must.
"In this period, deployment of Railway Police Force personnel and proper signages are needed," he said. He also directed round-the-clock monitoring by officials to avoid untoward situations.
Secunderabad division officials said they aim to ensure the smooth movement of passengers while maintaining the highest standards of safety.
