Sudhakar Rao, Amarender Reddy Elected to Boat Club

Sudhakar Rao brings extensive experience to the role, having served the club for 23 years — 19 years as President and four years as Secretary.

Hyderabad:Chennadi Sudhakar Rao and T. Amarender Reddy have been unanimously elected president and secretary, respectively, of the Hyderabad Boat Club, an institution with a 94‑year history.

The election results for the 2026‑28 term were announced on Saturday. Election officer S.B. Madhusudan declared the executive committee elected unopposed, as no other nominations were filed.

Sudhakar Rao brings extensive experience to the role, having served the club for 23 years — 19 years as President and four years as Secretary.

The new executive committee comprises Sudhakar Rao (president), Enugu Muralidhar Reddy (vice‑president), Amarender Reddy (secretary), C.A.B. Narender Rao (joint secretary) and K. Dharanidhar (treasurer). A.M. Raja, G. Kiran Kumar, Nikunj Anil, N. Likhitha, P.V.R. Reddy and Seshagiri Rao Thummala were elected unopposed as Managing Committee members.
