Sudershan Reddy Arrives in Hyderabad for Vice-Presidential Campaign

Congress MP Mallu Ravi said Justice Sudershan Reddy will address a press conference on Monday, where he is expected to share his views on constitutional values, democratic principles and the significance of the Vice President’s role in upholding parliamentary traditions. Ravi appealed to all Congress MPs and leaders in Telangana to actively participate in the reception and press meet, stressing that Justice Reddy’s candidature was an important opportunity to strengthen democratic institutions.

On Saturday, Justice Reddy was in Ranchi where he sought the support of MPs across political parties, stating that his appeal was based purely on merit and not political lines. He even expressed willingness to meet BJP leadership if permitted, in the spirit of consensus and democratic engagement.

As part of his campaign, Justice Reddy has already met key Opposition leaders including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, along with leaders from several other parties.
