Sub-Inspector Caught Accepting ₹20,000 Bribe In Sangareddy
According to ACB officials, the bribe was solicited to remove the complainant’s name from a case registered at Kollur Police Station: Reports

Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught M. Ramesh, Sub-Inspector of Kollur Police Station under Cyberabad Commissionerate, Sangareddy district, for allegedly demanding a bribe of ₹30,000 and accepting ₹20,000 from a complainant. He had earlier taken ₹5,000 as part of the total demand.
According to ACB officials, the bribe was solicited to remove the complainant’s name from a case registered at Kollur Police Station.
The ACB urged citizens to report any instances of bribery by government officials by calling the toll-free number 1064, messaging on WhatsApp (9440446106), or reaching out via Facebook (Telangana ACB) and the official website acb.telangana.gov.in. The identity of complainants will be kept strictly confidential.
