Student unions protest encroachment of Kankaraboard ZP govt. school land
They also pointed out concerns regarding the removal of the school’s examination center, lack of a proper boundary wall, and the continued entry of vehicles through the school premises, which disrupts students’ learning environment and generates noise pollution.

WARANGAL: Members of several student organisations, including the Democratic Student Federation of India (DSFI) and the Lambada Student Organisation (LSO), staged a protest on Wednesday against the encroachment of land belonging to the Kankarabord Zilla Parishad Government School.
Protesters highlighted that the school’s land, originally measuring 4 acres and 3 guntas, has been reduced to just 2 acres. They questioned the negligence of government officials responsible for protecting public property, noting that previous petitions and protests submitted to both Collector and Municipality officials have yielded no action.
The demonstrators warned that unless immediate steps are taken, the school’s land could be permanently lost. They also pointed out concerns regarding the removal of the school’s examination center, lack of a proper boundary wall, and the continued entry of vehicles through the school premises, which disrupts students’ learning environment and generates noise pollution.
State DSFI leader G. Surya Prakash and LSO District President Shiva Varma, along with other protest leaders including Praveen, Jawaharlal, Ramesh, Naresh, Chanti, and Vinay, called on higher authorities and public representatives to act swiftly. They demanded that encroachers be held accountable, a secure boundary wall be constructed immediately, and appropriate measures be taken to prevent further disturbances. Protesters warned of future demonstrations involving various student unions if their demands remain unmet.
