Student Leaders Seek Probe Into MGU Outsourcing Appointments

BRSV University president Vaddapalli Naveen alleged that recent outsourcing appointments in MGU were marked by corruption and procedural violations.

Nalgonda: Student leaders of Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) have sought a state-level inquiry into alleged irregularities in outsourcing appointments at the university. A delegation met Telangana Higher Education Council chairman Prof. Jitta Balakrishna Reddy in Hyderabad on Friday and submitted a memorandum.

BRSV University president Vaddapalli Naveen alleged that recent outsourcing appointments in MGU were marked by corruption and procedural violations. He said the process was carried out without following the roaster reservation system and without issuing proper public notifications. He alleged that the vice-chancellor and registrar had not acted despite the irregularities by the outsourcing agency.

According to him, over 100 appointments across categories were made through the agency, which allegedly collected large sums from unemployed applicants.

He urged the state government to cancel the ongoing outsourcing recruitment in MGU and issue a fresh notification inviting applications for the posts.
