Student Aadhaar Camp Launched in Kachiguda
India Post, UIDAI and BIE team up to ease enrolment and updates for students

Hyderabad: To facilitate Aadhaar enrolment and mandatory biometric updates for students, particularly those aged 15 and above as per UIDAI norms, the Department of Posts, in collaboration with UIDAI and the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), launched a dedicated camp on Monday at Government Junior College, Kachiguda.
The initiative aims to streamline Aadhaar enrolment and updates for Intermediate students across the state. The service is essential for accessing academic facilities such as scholarship applications, exam registrations and identity verification. The event was inaugurated by G. Hymavathi, senior superintendent of post offices, Hyderabad south east division, and A. Chiranjeevi, principal of the college.
Speaking on the occasion, Hymavathi said, “The Department of posts is proud to partner with UIDAI and the BIE to take essential services closer to students. This initiative will simplify Aadhaar access for youngsters and promote digital inclusion in the education system.”
Chiranjeevi said, “We are honoured to host the first Aadhaar camp, a much-needed facility for our students. We thank India Post and UIDAI for their support.” The camp will continue at the college till Wednesday. Similar camps will be held in a phased manner at all government junior colleges.
