ADILABAD: Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims), Adilabad, will soon begin implanting stents to cardiac patients at its super -speciality hospital, Rims director Jai Singh Rathod said on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media, Rathod appealed to patients to avail themselves of the cardiac services being provided by specialist doctors at the hospital. He said treatment was also being provided to cancer and thyroid patients.
He appreciated Dr Mohammed Zakria for providing services to cardiac patients.
Dr Mohammed Zakria, head of the cardiac department, said 50 patients had undergone angiogram tests at the super-speciality hospital last month. He said the department was also conducting 2D echo and angiogram tests.
