Konda Surekha Issues Clarification Over Social Media Posts
Former minister Konda Surekha was sacked from the State cabinet on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Konda Surekha has condemned the rumours circulating online about her political future. She took to X and shared a post providing links to her official Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube accounts. Here is the post.
Earlier, a Facebook post with Konda Surekha 's picture was shared a message saying, “The wait is almost over.” She further stated that a big update is coming soon and wrote, "Stay Tuned, Telangana".
In her post to the media, she clarified that there was no connection whatsoever with the news or posts being circulated in her name on various social media platforms.
Endowments and Forest Minister Konda Surekha was sacked from the State cabinet on Thursday. Konda Surekha, a BC leader and a five-time MLA, served as a Cabinet minister twice.Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy initiated a major administrative and political reshuffle, dropping her from the Council of Ministers with immediate effect. An official recommendation regarding the cabinet exclusion was forwarded and approved by the Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla.
However, several rumours began circulating about her next political move. While some reports suggest that Surekha may be considering launching a new political party, others claim that she could join the BJP soon.
However, there has been no official confirmation from Konda Surekha regarding her future political plans. On these lines, she released a post on her official social media accounts and sought that the media and public consider only the information coming through these official accounts as authentic.
