State carries out large-scale reshuffle of officers and non-teaching staff, introducing online transfers for non-teaching personnel for the first time.
Hyderabad: The Telangana school education department has completed general transfers 2026 for officers and non-teaching staff as per the schedule, which covers posts from additional director to office subordinate, including online transfers for non-teaching staff for the first time and new postings for several additional directors, joint directors, deputy directors and district educational officers.
Senior officer postings formed the main part of the transfer orders issued by the government. Five additional directors, seven joint directors and four deputy directors or district educational officers were moved on administrative grounds.
Among the additional directors, Ch. Ramana Kumar was moved from secretary, TGREIS, to additional director, MDM. P.V. Srihari, director, TOSS, was posted as additional state project director, Samagra Shiksha. K. Lingaiah, additional director, co-ordination, was posted as director, TOSS, and given full additional charge as director of government examinations, Hyderabad.
Radha Reddy was moved from additional state project director, Samagra Shiksha, to director, Government Text Book Press. G. Usha Rani, additional director, MDM, was posted as secretary, TGREIS.
The joint director transfers included P. Rajeev’s posting as joint director, Telangana Open School Society, Hyderabad, and M. Somi Reddy’s move to the regional joint director of the school education, Hyderabad. K. Satyanarayana Reddy was posted as joint director, model schools, with full additional charge as additional director (C).
P. Madan Mohan was moved to joint director (I), Samagra Shiksha, while A. Usha Rani was posted as joint director (II), Samagra Shiksha. B. Venkata Narasamma was moved to joint director (Services), office of the director of school education, and E. Vijaya Lakshmi was posted as regional joint director of school education, Warangal.
The government also changed postings of four deputy directors and district educational officers. P. Revathi Reddy was moved from deputy director, TET Cell, to deputy director, model school. R. Rohini, district educational officer, Hyderabad, was moved to Sangareddy. Venkatehwarlu was moved from Sangareddy to Rangareddy as district educational officer, while Yadaiah was transferred from Mancherial to Hyderabad.
The transfers followed GO 38 issued by the finance department on April 21 and a government memo dated May 20. Assistant directors and deputy educational officers were processed at the directorate of school education level. District educational officers, joint directors and additional directors were transferred at the government level.
