State Adviser Urges Teachers to Aim for 100% Class 10 Pass Rate

The 195th birth anniversary celebrations of Savitribai Phule were held on Friday at the Integrated District Offices Complex.

Nizamabad: State government adviser P. Sudarshan Reddy on Friday said that greater commitment and quality teaching by educators could further improve academic outcomes. Noting that the district’s pass percentage had improved compared to previous years, he urged teachers to work with the same spirit to achieve a 100 per cent pass rate in the forthcoming Class 10 annual examinations of the current academic year.

The 195th birth anniversary celebrations of Savitribai Phule were held on Friday at the Integrated District Offices Complex. Sudarshan Reddy attended the programme as chief guest and, along with district collector Ilambarti Tripathi and others, paid floral tributes to Savitribai Phule’s portrait, recalling her pioneering contribution to women’s education. Women headmistresses and teachers who rendered outstanding services were felicitated and presented with mementoes.
Addressing the gathering, Sudarshan Reddy said the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, was according top priority to the education sector and investing crores of rupees to strengthen infrastructure in government schools. He said the government would not compromise on improving educational standards and informed that an Integrated Residential School was being established in the district at an estimated cost of ₹200 crore.
He assured that efficient performers would be encouraged and said government schools should be developed to a level where even private and corporate schools look to them as role models.
Collector Tripathi advised teachers to treat students in government schools as their own children and support them in building a bright future. She said Class 10 was a crucial stage and that quality education and proper guidance were essential to keep students on the right path.
State Urdu Academy chairman Taher Bin Hamdan, agriculture commission member Gadugu Gangadhar, state cooperative societies federation chairman Manala Mohan Reddy, additional collector Ankit, district education officer P. Ashok, MEOs, headmasters, teachers and education department officials attended the programme.
