State Adviser Assures Special Funds For Village Development

NIZAMABAD: State government adviser and senior MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy on Sunday said special funds would be brought in for the development of gram panchayats, asserting that villages would be developed by setting aside political differences.
He said the state government is giving utmost importance to rural development and strengthening village-level infrastructure.
Sudarshan Reddy was speaking after felicitating newly elected Congress sarpanches and ward members at Bodhan. Addressing the gathering, he said the newly elected representatives would play a key role in the integrated development of rural areas.
He urged sarpanches and ward members to actively bring public issues and local problems to the notice of the authorities and work collectively for the welfare of the people.
