Hyd-based start-up develops reusable smart notebooks

Hyderabad:Hyderabad-based start-up ReNote AI, operating from T-Hub, has developed a reusable notebook integrated with AI-powered document management. Offering a new approach to note-taking, the product aims to reduce paper waste while providing a seamless digital solution for users.

Speaking with Deccan Chronicle, Kesari Sai Krishna, co-founder of ReNote AI, said that the notebook comes with a special pen, and users can erase their writing by wiping it off with a tissue, making it reusable.

The company also provides an app equipped with optical character recognition (OCR) and other AI-driven features. Users can scan their handwritten notes, convert them into digital text and store them in the cloud. The app includes voice-to-text functionality, auto-capture and an AI chatbot for document management.

“Our goal is to address two challenges: paper waste and efficient note management. We wanted to create a solution that retains the experience of writing by hand while offering the benefits of digital storage and organisation,” Sai Krishna explained.

“We want to provide an easy-to-use and sustainable alternative to traditional notebooks, making note-taking more efficient and environmentally friendly. Each page can be reused 50 times and notes are stored forever with cloud connectivity,” he further added.
