Stamps and Registration Now on WhatsApp

MeeSeva integrates IGRS services for easy digital access

Hyderabad: Citizens can now access all services of the stamps and registration department directly through the MeeSeva WhatsApp chatbot, marking a new milestone in digital governance.

The measure was guided by IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu and commissioner T. Ravi Kiran of MeeSeva. The Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) division has successfully integrated the Inspector General of Registration and Stamps (IGRS) department services onto the MeeSeva WhatsApp/Chatbot platform.

Launched in November last year, the MeeSeva WhatsApp chatbot platform provides services such as a certified copy of registration document, encumbrance certificate, purchase of stamps, franking, deficit, societies, RTI, firms and penalty via the official number 8096958096.

Users can save the number as MeeSeva Telangana, send “Hi” to activate the chatbot, select the service, enter details and pay online. For penalty, deficit, firms, societies, RTI, franking and purchase of stamps, approved users collect documents from their Sub‑Registrar Office (SRO). Encumbrance certificates are available at the nearest MeeSeva centres post‑approval, while certified copies are delivered instantly on WhatsApp without any office visit.

This rollout, coordinated with the inspector general of registration and stamps department, aims to streamline access to essential registration services for millions across the state.
