Hyderabad: Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) Commissioner, G Srijana held a meeting with the Coimbatore team to understand their experience in rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge and waterlogging management.
The session covered Modular Rainwater Harvesting, Infiltration Tunnels, EcoBloc Sponge Grounds and Sponge Parks for managing stormwater and supporting groundwater recharge. The Coimbatore experience and project examples were also reviewed as part of the discussion.

The meeting was attended by all Zonal Commissioners, Chief Engineer, Zonal SEs and EEs, with discussions focused on practical approaches that could be relevant to Cyberabad.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
