Sridhar Babu Slams BRS: Says Opposition Misleading Unemployed to Hide Decade of Failures

The new investments are projected to create over 1.40 lakh jobs for skilled and talented youth.

Hyderabad: IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu has accused the BRS leadership of actively trying to prevent unemployed youth in Telangana from securing jobs. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, the minister alleged that the Opposition party is attempting to sabotage the current state government's initiatives to attract investments and generate employment.

According to Sridhar Babu, Telangana is experiencing consistent progress in industrial development under the Congress government. He stated that the new investments are projected to create over 1.40 lakh jobs for skilled and talented youth. The minister further charged the BRS with spreading "misinformation" to distract the public from the failures of its 10-year rule.

Sridhar Babu asserted that the Congress administration is prioritising transparent policies and job creation, contrasting this with what he described as the former government's neglect of industrial growth. He concluded by stating, "While we are bringing industries to Telangana, the BRS is trying to mislead the unemployed and block opportunities meant for them."
