Sri Krishna Janmashtami Celebrated with Fervour in Hyderabad
The temple management made necessary arrangements to ensure hassle-free darshan of Lord Sri Krishna

Hyderabad: Religious fervour marked the Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations at various temples and ISKCON in twin cities on Friday.
The celebrations were organized in a grand manner at the temples near Sangeeth crossroads in Secunderabad, Nampally, Attapur and Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills. A large number of devotees turned up to have darshan of Lord Sri Krishna.
The temple managements made necessary arrangements to ensure hassle-free darshan of Lord Sri Krishna. They provided prasadam to devotees.
This year’s Janmashtami celebrations at Hare Krishna Golden Temple offered a unique opportunity to have darshan of Lord Sri Krishna’s enchanting forms as Sri Radha Govinda, Sri Godha Krishna, Sri Laddu Gopal and Sri Makhan Krishna.
All devotees who attended were blessed with the chance to participate in the sacred Jhulan and Unjala Seva to Sri Makhan Krishna, deepening their spiritual connection with the Lord.
The celebrations commenced with the glorious Shringara Arati, a mesmerizing spectacle where the Deities Sri Radha Govinda were adorned with Nava Vastrams, exquisite jewelry, and splendid floral decorations followed by Visesha Naivedyam.
Sri Narasimha Homa (traditional vedic fire sacrifice) was performed to bring in all auspiciousness and prosperity. A grand offering of Chappan Bhog —56 varieties of delicacies (Food Items) lovingly prepared by devotees were presented to the Lord. This was followed by the auspicious Raja Bhoga Arati at noon.
