Sreenivasa Raju Shifted, Appointed TG-RERA Chairperson

Hyderabad:A day after reshuffling key officials in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the state government on Saturday transferred principal secretary K.S. Sreenivasa Raju and appointed him chairperson of the Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TG‑RERA). The move is part of a broader reorganisation of the CMO and key administrative positions by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
A retired IAS officer, Sreenivasa Raju was appointed principal secretary in the CMO on April 30, 2025, for a two‑year term ending April 30, 2027. He was shifted after serving just over a year.
The latest transfer follows Friday’s major IAS reshuffle, under which senior officer N. Sridhar was appointed principal secretary in the CMO. The Chief Minister also designated chief secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao as Ex‑officio special secretary in the CMO and Advisor to the Chief Minister after his retirement on June 30.
Special Secretary B. Ajith Reddy was moved on Friday and posted as CEO of Invest Telangana, the investment promotion agency under the Industries and Commerce Department. In fresh orders issued on Saturday, he was also given Full Additional Charge as Additional Managing Director of Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL).
The changes extended to TG‑RERA as well. Retired IRS officer Vemula Sreekar was appointed Technical and Administrative Member, while former GHMC chief city planner K. Srinivas was named secretary of the authority earlier this week.
