Hyderabad: A speeding BMW caused significant damage to a police traffic booth in Jubilee Hills early this morning. The vehicle, registered to Malik Gems and Jewellery, struck the booth, but no injuries were reported as the accident occurred in the early hours. The driver fled the scene immediately following the collision.
Police suspect the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Further investigation revealed two outstanding traffic challans against the BMW. Despite the severity of the impact, the driver escaped without injury, likely due to the deployment of the vehicle's airbags. Authorities are currently investigating the incident and searching for the driver.
