Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Roll Underway in Hyderabad; Claims and Objections Open

The Hyderabad District Election Authority stated that applications can be submitted to the local electoral registration officer, assistant electoral registration officer or the booth level officer (BLO) or submitted online through the ECI voters’ services portal and ECINET mobile app.

Hyderabad:The claims and objections period for the additions and deletions to the electoral roll under the special intensive revision (SIR) process that commenced on August 17 will end on September 16.

The Hyderabad District Election Authority stated that applications can be submitted to the local electoral registration officer, assistant electoral registration officer or the booth level officer (BLO) or submitted online through the ECI voters’ services portal and ECINET mobile app.

Citizens can apply for enrollment as new electors through Form 6, for addition by Overseas Indian through Form 6A, file objections/deletion requests through Form 7 and request shifting of residence, corrections, replacement of Electronic Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) and PWD marking through Form 8. The final electoral roll will be published on October 19.
