Space on Wheels’ Rolls Into Railway School
A "Space on Wheels" mobile exhibition and Space Expo at a Railway school in Hyderabad introduced students to India's space achievements and scientific research.
A Space Expo 2026 was organised at Railway Mixed High School, South Lallaguda, in collaboration with Kalam’s Institute of Youth Excellence, as part of a city-level student initiative to promote scientific awareness and interest in space research.
The event highlighted India’s achievements in space science and showcased opportunities in scientific research. A “Space on Wheels” mobile exhibition bus was flagged off, offering an interactive learning experience for students. A dedicated taekwondo training facility was also inaugurated on the campus.
Students, teachers, parents, Railway officials and invited guests participated in the programme.
Organisers said the initiative aimed to foster scientific temperament, promote awareness of space science and technology, and encourage students to explore research. The programme concluded with a focus on promoting scientific awareness, innovation and experiential learning among students.
