South Central Railways To Run Special Trains During Ganesh Chaturthi

HYDERABAD: South Central Railway Zone will run special trains with 20 short distance trips and 20 long distance trips from Friday until 21st of this month, in view of the heavy rush on the occasion of the Ganesh Chaturthi as large number people will be travelling to their home towns to celebrate the festival.

Around 20 to 30 special trains will run to different destinations of the zone. South Central Railways also informed that looking at the demand, if needed, more trains will be introduced for this year’s festival. For the city bound stations, six direct trains for short distance and 19 long distance direct trains are scheduled. Looking at the high demand towards Patna and Danapur, the railways introduced the specials in that route too.
