Some Political Forces Creating Hurdles For Musi Rejuvenation Project: Revanth Reddy

Telangana achieved lot of progress in IT and pharma sectors: CM

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday made a fervent appeal to all Telugu people living in Japan to come forward for the development of Telangana and compete with the world.

“We achieved quite a lot of progress in IT and pharma sectors in Telangana and envisaged plans to establish a dry port in the State,” he said, addressing a program organized by Japan Telugu Federation in Japan

“We are appealing to all of you to come forward for the development of Telangana and compete with the world. We visited the riverfront in Tokyo and examined the facilities. Water is a symbol of our culture and development. However, some political forces are creating hurdles for the Musi Rejuvenation project,” he said.

Revanth Reddy said that Delhi was witnessing unchecked air pollution and the institutions were forced to declare holidays. “Don't we need to learn a lesson from the uncontrolled air pollution in Delhi where public life came to a standstill? Taking a serious note of it, we proposed to restore and rejuvenate the Musi River in Hyderabad,” he said.

According to Revanth Reddy, Musi project, metro rail expansion, Regional Ring Road (RRR) and radial roads are being considered the most important for the progress of Telangana. The State government's intention is to invite huge investments in Telangana, promote industrial development and create more employment opportunities.

Appealing to everyone to extend cooperation for Telangana development, the Chief Minister said Telangana would compete with the world if everyone lends a helping hand. “As we are ready to seek suggestions, you can share your ideas with the State government. We are already experiencing exhilarating moments from the development of our own area,” he said.
