Some BLOs Fudged EFs Numbers: Congress
Following the BJP’s complaint, the Congress also lodged a complaint with ECI.

Hyderabad: Even as the last date of submission of Enumeration Forms has been extended till August 10, complaints continued to pour in at the Chief Electoral Officer and at poll officials that BLOs were indulging in fraudulent tactics to “inflate completion metrics” like filling in unclaimed forms, towards achieving maximum percentage of digitisation.
Following the BJP’s complaint, the Congress also lodged a complaint with ECI. When 11th hour voters reached out to BLO to receive their forms, to their surprise forms were already found to be filled and also digitised.
Gopishetty Raghaven-der, Medchal-Malkajgiri district vice president of Congress, noted that the voters, who neither filled online or physical forms, were shocked to know that their forms were already filled. “BLOs are under pressure for completion of Enumeration Forms submission in their respective polling booths. Under pressure, BLOs are filling the undistributed Forms and mapping the voters with the known and unknown voters and submitting by their own,” said Raghavender.
“They clearly say that it was done with the permission of higher officials. For instance in Kukatp-ally Assembly constituency in booth no.228, 225 and 239, three different voters faced the issue. BLO informed that their forms were filled and submitted by BLOs themselves.”
