Solasta 2026: FDDI Graduates Showcase High-Fashion Innovation And Craftsmanship
The show brought works from three different academic schools, with 31 students from the School of Fashion Design, eight from the School of Footwear Design and Production, and two from the School of Leather, Lifestyle and Product Design.
HYDERABAD: Around forty-one graduating students at Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) here presented their final design collections at Solasta, a platform to showcase fashion, footwear and leather product design here on Monday. “Each collection represents months of research, experimentation, and craftsmanship, preparing our graduates to contribute meaningfully to the global fashion and lifestyle industry,” said Dr Vikash Godha Head of Fashion Design school, FDDI.
The show brought works from three different academic schools, with 31 students from the School of Fashion Design, eight from the School of Footwear Design and Production, and two from the School of Leather, Lifestyle and Product Design. Each segment introduced collections that ranged from apparel to footwear and leather lifestyle products. The works of the students were presented before industry professionals, academicians and media representatives.
The institute described the event in its statement as a platform where “emerging designers present their collections before industry professionals, academicians, and media representatives”. It also positioned the show as a direct interface between graduating students and the design sector.
